General Terms of Use for the Olivebiome Platform and User Information
The Galician Business University Foundation – hereinafter FEUGA, with Tax ID G 15051667, registered office at Rúa Lope Gómez de Marzoa s/n, 15705 Santiago, email feuga@feuga.es, and registered in the Xunta de Galicia Foundation Registry No. 155, makes the PLATFORM [Add your link here] (hereinafter PLATFORM) available to Internet users free of charge. Access to and/or use of the PLATFORM is entirely voluntary and attributes the status of USER to anyone who does so. Every USER accepts, from the moment of access, without any reservation, the content of these ‘General Conditions’ as well as, where applicable, the ‘Specific Conditions’ that may complement, replace or modify them in any way in relation to the services and contents of the PLATFORM. Consequently, the USER must carefully read both before accessing and using any service of the PLATFORM under their full responsibility. In any case, FEUGA reserves the right to, at any time and without prior notice, deny access to this site to those users who violate any of these general conditions or the specific conditions that apply to them, and we inform you that we comply with the obligation to have at least one of the domains we own registered in the corresponding registry.
Purpose and Modification of Conditions
FEUGA makes available to USERS the possibility of browsing, accessing the contents and services of the PLATFORM as long as they do so in accordance with the provisions of these GENERAL CONDITIONS.
In any case, FEUGA reserves the right to, at any time and without prior notice, modify or eliminate the content, structure, design, services and conditions of access and/or use of this site, whenever it deems appropriate.
User Responsibility
The USER is obliged to use the services and contents provided by the PLATFORM in accordance with current legislation and the principles of good faith and generally accepted practices, and not to contravene public order through their actions on the Web. Therefore, any use for illegal purposes or that harms or prevents, may damage and/or overload, in any way, the use and normal operation of the PLATFORM or directly or indirectly threatens it or any third party is prohibited.
The user of the PLATFORM will not transmit through the service anything that violates the values and dignity of people, in accordance with national and international norms for the protection of human rights.
The user of the PLATFORM agrees to provide true and accurate information about themselves in the registration form.
Likewise, the reproduction, distribution, transmission, adaptation or modification, by any means and in any form, of the contents of the PLATFORM Web (texts, designs, graphics, information, databases, sound and/or image files, logos…) and other elements of this site is prohibited, except with prior authorization from their legitimate owners or when permitted by law.
Any commercial or advertising use other than that strictly permitted, if applicable, and the violation, in general, of any right derived from them, is also prohibited with respect to the aforementioned contents.
The USER will be solely responsible for the use of this site and for compliance with these GENERAL CONDITIONS in their entirety. Consequently, the USER is obliged to keep secret, with the character of confidential and reserved information, their access keys, passwords or similar data assigned to access the PLATFORM or any of its services, being responsible for any damages of all kinds derived from misuse made by themselves or third parties, both against the user themselves, considered as a consequence of their negligence, and those that FEUGA may suffer as a result of non-compliance with these GENERAL CONDITIONS.
Any violation of these GENERAL CONDITIONS may give rise to extrajudicial or judicial civil or criminal proceedings against the user.
User Registration
FEUGA reserves some of the Services offered through the PLATFORM for registered USERS by completing the forms accessible through the Website. Nevertheless, FEUGA makes certain Services available to users whose use requires the completion of additional registrations by USERS.
FEUGA will automatically process Personal Data for the purposes and under the conditions defined in its Privacy Policy contained in this Legal Notice.
Exclusion of Warranties and Liability
FEUGA does not guarantee or assume responsibility, under any circumstances, for the following facts and contents or for any damages that may arise from them:
Lack of availability, continuity, access, maintenance, and effective functioning of the website and/or its services and updating, accuracy, completeness, relevance, timeliness, and reliability of its contents, regardless of the cause, and the technical difficulties or problems of any nature originating from these facts. The transmission and/or existence of viruses, other harmful elements or programs for users’ equipment that could affect them, as a result of access, use or examination of the site or produce alterations in their electronic documents or files.
The unlawful, negligent, fraudulent use, impersonating a third party or contrary to the content of these general conditions, good faith, generally accepted practices or public order, of the website, its services and contents, by USERS.
Defects or flaws in the contents and/or services accessed through the PLATFORM.
For the reception, storage, obtaining, dissemination or transmission by USERS of the contents of the PLATFORM.
For the knowledge of any information that unauthorized third parties may possess or use regarding the characteristics and circumstances of the use of the PLATFORM’s contents and services by USERS.
For the breach by third parties of their obligations derived from or contracted in relation to the services provided to USERS through the PLATFORM, as well as for the lack of quality, reliability, suitability to what is offered, legality, usefulness and availability of services provided by third parties and made available to USERS on this site.
The above list is merely illustrative and, in no case, exclusive or excluding in any of its points. In all cases, FEUGA EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THEM AND FROM ANY OTHERS NOT SPECIFIED OF SIMILAR CHARACTERISTICS.
Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights
The texts, designs, images, databases, logos, structure, trademarks, and other elements of this site are protected by laws and international treaties on intellectual and industrial property. Any reproduction, transmission, adaptation, translation, modification, communication to the public, or any other exploitation of all or part of the content of this site, carried out in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical or other, is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from FEUGA. Any infringement of these rights may give rise to appropriate civil or criminal extrajudicial or judicial proceedings.
FEUGA does not grant any license or authorization of any kind on its intellectual and industrial property rights or on any other property or right related to the PLATFORM, the services or its contents.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These general conditions shall be governed by Spanish legislation.
For any issues that may arise or actions that may be taken resulting from the provision of the PLATFORM’s service and its services and contents, and regarding the interpretation, application, compliance or non-compliance with what is established herein, FEUGA and the USER, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Santiago de Compostela.
